It's fittng that today, as Local 195 hosts a Health and Safety Information Workshop. Also running a Human Rights course, I present a proposal to our Executive Board to form an Injured Worker Support Group and Injured Worker Committee. The process to grandfather our injured workers, to give them rights like retirees is more complicated than I thought. But it will happen :-)

Today is just the first step, next will be General Council. I am grateful our local recognized the importance of taking care of injured workers throughout our community.
