In service
A total of 159 Canadian Forces personnel have been killed in the war since 2002, not to mention, 54 by suicide after returning from war. I am drawing attention to the fact that thousands of workers die in Canada each year, and millions more have been injured at work. There are no statistics on suicide resulting from the catastrophic events after a severe workplace injury. The statistics would not be accurate, due to the number of unreported injuries or denied claims due to time-lines, per-existing conditions, degenerative disease or policies that restrict what injuries are allowable and so on. In essence, we are winning battles, but it will take workers putting aside their differences in solidarity, to end the war on workers.
